Oxford shoes & Zizi
Inspired by slippers for jazz dancers, this model created in the 1970s by Rose Repetto for her daughter-in-law, the revue leader Zizi Jeanmaire, is made of soft, fine leather which follows the movements of the foot perfectly thanks to using the same French manufacturing technique as that of ballerinas: reverse stitching. More than a shoe, the zizi embodies a certain idea of style that spans the ages while retaining all its modernity. In black or white, on the feet of Serge Gainsbourg, Mick Jagger, Clara Luciani, Nougaro, M, Stromae, Noël Gallagher or Blake Lively, these brogues create a silhouette.
