The story of the House begins with Rose Repetto, who, in 1947, on the advice of her son Roland Petit, a dancer and choreographer, created dance shoes. Repetto quickly became a benchmark for all dancers. From these dance shoes emerged the first urban ballerina flat, made using a technique unique in the world: the stitch-and-turn method.

As a Bag Designer, you will create elegant, functional, and timeless designs inspired by the world of dance and movement, while ensuring their technical and industrial feasibility. You will guide the products from the initial inspiration phase through to showroom validation.

CREATION

• Create mood boards and conduct iconographic research related to the Repetto universe: dance, opera, movement, femininity and know-how.
• Anticipating trends in fashion, accessories, colours and materials, while respecting the timelessness inherent to the House.
• To build and develop color ranges by season as well as for ad hoc projects (capsules, collaborations, exclusives).
• Create pattern drafts/mock-ups with measurements, technical details and placement of graphic elements at full size if possible to validate the prototype launches 1
• Prepare complete technical specifications for manufacturers (materials, leathers, accessories, finishes, dimensions).

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & TECHNICAL SUPPORT

• Monitor the development of the bags in collaboration with the factories and product managers
• Create and adjust technical specifications during development (prototypes and showroom samples)
• Approve the different models during the technical collection meetings.
• Ensure compliance with the creative intent, Repetto quality standards, deadlines and industrial constraints.

• Education Bac +3 to Bac +5 in Styling, Fashion Design or Leather Goods.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Bag Designer, ideally in the luxury sector. A minimum of 5 years is required.
• Strong creative sensitivity and excellent understanding of Repetto's DNA.
• Proficiency in hand drawing and creative tools (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Good knowledge of soft leathers, textile materials and leather goods manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to design elegant, lightweight, and functional products.
• Professional English.
