Rosin
Presented in crystal form, rosin is used by dancers to prevent slipping on the floor. It is crushed in a specially designed container. Directions for use: - Apply rosin to the outer sole of the pointe shoes (demi-pointe and pointe) and to the pointe platform. - To ensure the back of the shoe stays securely in place, it is advisable to apply a small amount of rosin under the heel. - On stage, coat the pointe shoes with rosin to mattify them and match the color of the shoe to the tights.
