Demi-pointe ballet slippers are an essential element in learning classical dance. The choice depends on age, practice level, and foot strength. Well-suited demi-pointe slippers ensure comfort, support, and freedom of movement.
• BEGINNER
Full-sole leather demi-pointe slippers are recommended for initial classes. They offer good support and help strengthen the foot.
Full-sole canvas demi-pointe slippers are also a good alternative.
Recommended models: T200C (leather), T229 (leather) and T228 (canvas)
• INTERMEDIATE
The bi-sole leather model will be perfectly suited for beginners and intermediate dancers.
After a few years of practice, bi-sole canvas demi-pointe slippers are recommended.
Recommended models: T227 (leather), T225 (canvas) and T241 (stretch canvas)
• ADVANCED
Flexible triangle-mounted bi-sole demi-pointe slippers offer great freedom of movement and highlight the foot's work.
The Dance Fit T240 model, made of knit fabric, naturally adapts to the foot's movements for optimal comfort.
Recommended models: T231 (canvas), T232 (canvas), and T240 (knit)
MATERIALS
The choice of material influences support, flexibility, and feel.
· Leather: provides good foot support and offers better durability over time. It is recommended for beginners.
· Canvas: offers optimal flexibility and is easy to maintain. It is recommended for more experienced dancers.
· Knit: is an innovative material that provides new sensations. It is recommended for adults, both intermediate and advanced dancers.
SHAPES
The choice of sole depends on the level of practice and the desired support.
· Full sole: ideal for beginners. It helps strengthen the arch, work the instep, and ensures good stability.
· Split sole: recommended after a few years of practice. It conforms better to the foot and highlights the instep more effectively.
