Repetto, an exceptional artisan in the world of luxury, offers collections inspired by the world of classical dance and crafted with exceptional artistry. This tradition has been carried on for 65 years in its workshops in the Dordogne.
The House’s history began with Rose Repetto, who, in 1947 and on the advice of her son Roland Petit—a dancer and choreographer—created ballet slippers. Repetto quickly became the go-to brand for all dancers.
From these ballet slippers emerged the first city ballet flat, crafted using a technique unique in the world: the “cousu-retourné” method.
Today, Repetto is a French luxury brand that has gained international recognition thanks to the quality of its craftsmanship, which it has successfully applied across all its collections: footwear, leather goods, athleisure, and dance.

At the heart of the product teams, you will be in charge of developing textile collections, ensuring product quality and coordinating with our suppliers and industrial partners.
Product development
- Taking part in the development of textile collections from design to production (in collaboration with the development team)
- Working closely with the Design and Marketing teams
- Sourcing materials, trims and manufacturers
- Monitoring prototypes, fittings and technical adjustments
- Producing tech packs and following up through to production launch
- Identifying trends and innovation opportunities
Quality & production
- Ensuring compliance with Repetto quality standards
- Setting up and monitoring quality controls
- Ensuring the regulatory and environmental compliance of products
- Analyzing quality issues and implementing corrective actions
- Optimizing manufacturing processes with industrial partners
Supplier management
- Selecting and managing suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Monitoring production lead times and quality
- Traveling regularly to partners (ability to travel internationally on a regular basis)
Your profile
- Master's degree in textiles / fashion / product development
- 8 to 10 years of experience in textile development
- Significant experience in a small to mid-sized company
- Good command of textile manufacturing techniques and product development
- Knowledge of quality standards and development tools
- Fluent English essential
