Born in Tokyo and raised in New York, Shogo Sekine (born 1983) has established himself as a leading figure in contemporary art since 2013. His instantly recognizable style blends hand-drawn typography, geometric forms, floral elements, and nature-inspired motifs, resulting in compositions that are both poetic and modern.

The capsule features two original patterns created by Sekine. The Star Pattern, built around his signature star and asterisk motifs, reflects a modular and intuitive approach while connecting to Repetto’s ballet heritage, where étoile—meaning “star”—refers to a principal dancer. The All-Over Pattern, developed from existing artworks, brings a vibrant explosion of color across the design, highlighting Sekine’s bold use of hues and Repetto’s shared love for expressive, colorful detail.
